Banijay Colombia will produce the first Spanish-language adaptation of House of Villains, an NBCUniversal Formats show that brings together controversial reality TV personalities in a competition of strategy, alliances and eliminations.

Juego de villanos will premiere in October on Telemundo, featuring 18 celebrities competing for a prize of US$200,000 and the title of ‘Villain Emperor.’

The participants will live together under one roof and compete in various challenges while negotiating, forming alliances and trying to eliminate their rivals. Telemundo has not yet announced the cast or the host of the show.

Juego de villanos will be produced by Banijay Colombia, with Harold Sánchez as executive producer and Hernán Huñis as showrunner. Juan Pablo Ybarra will be executive producer for Telemundo Studios, under the supervision of Adrián Santucho and Pancho Calvo, senior VPs of unscripted content.

Created and distributed internationally by NBCUniversal Formats, the original House of Villains debuted on E! Entertainment in the US, where it aired for two seasons before moving to Peacock in 2026 for its third season.

The format already has adaptations in other markets, including the French-Canadian version La Maison des Vilains, produced for Crave by Productions J, and a Dutch version by Concept Street.

The new show will air Monday through Friday and on Sundays on Telemundo and its app, and will be available the following day on Peacock in the US. In Latin America, it will air on Telemundo Internacional and will also be available the following day on Universal+.

The production was also selected to receive the CINA incentive from Colombia, which includes a tax discount equivalent to 35% of the expenditure on audiovisual services made in the country.
