In a market that demands agility without sacrificing quality, Wide Angle is evolving its technical infrastructure. The company recently inaugurated its new state-of-theart mastering suite and implemented a hybrid room model, optimizing workflows between audio and editing. It also added 20 remote editing rooms, further expanding its capacity.
\nWide Angle is the cutting-edge post-production hub of Endemol Shine Boomdog, part of Banijay Americas. It operates out of two locations: Polanco and Huixquilucan.<\/p>\n

OVER ONE THOUSAND HOURS OF PRODUCTION IN A YEAR<\/strong>
\nWide Angle can handle up to eight projects simultaneously, regardless of their size or type. “We can work on a 24\/7 show, a scripted series, and a couple of realities at the same time,” Wide Angle director Jos\u00e9 Brice\u00f1o told PRODU. By the end of 2026, the company will have completed one thousand hours of post-production.
\nSince its founding, Wide Angle has accumulated just over 3,500 hours of production \u2014 which makes reaching one thousand hours in a single year a true milestone.
\n“In four years, we have grown in both space and services. We now have around 100 workspaces across editorial, Data Lab, online conform, color, audio, mastering\u2026all of our services spread across Wide Angle’s two facilities,” he noted.<\/p>\n

HYBRID ROOMS: BOOSTING CAPACITY IN AUDIO MIXING<\/strong>
\nThe centerpiece of this update is the transformation of its workspaces. By designing hybrid audio and editing rooms, the company not only breaks down barriers between departments but also adds four brand-new, fully equipped audio rooms to its current offering.
\nThis expands its existing six audio mixing stations ranging from 2.0 to Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 with four hybrid 5.1 rooms, bringing the total to 10 audio mixing stations.<\/p>\n

NEW MASTERING SUITE<\/strong>
\nThe new suite has been designed to deliver absolute fidelity in the final treatment of color and sound. It meets the technical requirements of the leading streaming platforms and theatrical release standards. Its state-of-the-art equipment ensures that the final product maintains its artistic integrity across any screen.
\n“In our new mastering and screening room, our clients can view their finished product, approve it, or make any final adjustments. From there, it can be packaged and delivered to the platform,” said Jos\u00e9 Brice\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

SECURITY IN REMOTE EDITING ROOMS<\/strong>
\nWide Angle currently operates 70 physical editing suites, and has now added 20 remote rooms. This allows the company to collaborate with talent in Argentina, Spain, the United States, and Colombia, while also expanding its overall work capacity.
\n“All the information \u2014 everything related to project working files \u2014 is securely stored at our facility. The connection is entirely remote, with no risk of leaks or issues with the material. We have been very careful in adding remote rooms to ensure they are fully secure,” Brice\u00f1o explained.<\/p>\n

A PROMISING 2026<\/strong>
\nWide Angle will soon begin work on a new edition of La Casa de los Famosos for Telemundo \u2014 the most ambitious project on their plate this year. They recently wrapped Como agua para chocolate and are preparing to take on additional projects.
\nBrice\u00f1o explained that they will soon kick off several new realities, including a 24\/7 format, as well as two more projects for a highly prominent platform. “We are looking at a very exciting 2026, with several projects lined up and ready to go,” he said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
