Mexico City, Mexico (June 5, 2025) — MasterChef México, the hit cooking competition produced by EndemolShine Boomdog and Banijay Entertainment, will celebrate its 10th anniversary in Mexico with a special episode within the current season of MasterChef Celebrity Generaciones. The episode will bring back iconic contestants from previous seasons and will air on Azteca Uno on Sunday, June 8.
Since its debut in June 2015 on TV Azteca, MasterChef México has become a television classic—not only breaking audience records, but also through partnerships with leading brands and creating viral content across digital platforms.
As part of its 10th anniversary celebration, in addition to the special episode of MasterChef Celebrity Generaciones, the grand finale of the current season will be screened for the first time in movie theaters—Cinemex and Cinépolis—across Mexico on July 27.
Since 2015, MasterChef México has produced 13 different seasons, including MasterChef Junior, MasterChef, and MasterChef Celebrity Generaciones, bringing together a diverse group of celebrities and content creators—from Millennials to the Cassette Generation.
Over the years, the show has established strategic partnerships with brands such as Bandana Products and the MasterChef by Huken appliance line, bringing culinary excellence to Mexican kitchens with practical, high-quality products.
Earlier this year, Vips, Mexico’s largest restaurant chain (owned by Grupo Alsea), launched a special collaboration inspired by MasterChef’s flavors and excellence. The menu features exclusive dishes available at more than 230 locations nationwide through the end of August.
As part of its business expansion, EndemolShine Boomdog also launched the Escuela MasterChef México, a digital platform that extends the experience to fans and aspiring chefs. It offers cooking techniques, recipes, and culinary tools to help users cook like a true MasterChef. With more than 100 renowned chefs participating, users gain access to hundreds of recipes and techniques in one place.
Since its debut, MasterChef México has become a digital phenomenon, leading the conversation online and steadily growing across digital channels. This year, the YouTube channel is expected to surpass 2 million subscribers, a major milestone.
